About the Cover: Nanomaterials are highly reactive and dynamic in the environment and can undergo a range of physical, chemical, and biological transformations. Some examples of transformations include heteroaggregation, adsorption of biomacromolecules, biodegradation, and sulfidation. These transformations will affect the nanomaterial properties and environmental behaviors and impacts.
